This week, we are picking back up with our sermon series in Esther as we look at
Esther 9:1-19, As we look at this chapter, we are going to think about how Esther and Mordecai were living in an empire where they were surrounded by enemies and, thus, how this story can inform our lives as we live in a world that is increasingly hostile to our faith; we have to know how to face down the attacks of this world and still stand firm on the Truth of the Gospel. And what our passage today, the final and complete triumph of God’s people over the power and principalities of evil, teaches us is that, when we face attacks from the world, we must remember that God and His power are always present in our lives, we must have confidence in His immovable and unshakeable plan, and, those two things being the case, we must live faithfully.
