Always be ready to walk to God!

The stories of Noah, flood, and the destruction of Sodom, were in the memory of Israel. The people were engaged in their own everyday activities when the disaster struck. We are challenged to focus our attention on our relationship with God.

Lot’s wife, who looked back became a pillar of salt. She became so because she could not leave the past behind her. We are on a pilgrimage back to our heavenly home. We are not to be tied to anything or anyone. Live our lives based on God's plan for us.

Many overwhelming events catch us by surprise in life. Jesus warns us that the time for decision can catch us unawares, and never postpone it. God gives us the help to live our life for him and not be caught by surprise.

The only way to be prepared is to live a good life, one based on love. Then the coming of the Son of Man will not be a disaster but our final liberation. God bless!
