To be human, is to know grief. It is a universal experience. We grieve when our marriages fail, when a child goes astray, when our nation falls apart and of course, when a loved one dies. Some people even grieve their own lives, living in persistent sorrow over their circumstances. God means for grief to accomplish something in the way we perceive reality.
