In these passages we find Jesus is stating his purpose for being here on Earth. He explains that he his here to give us life. He also explains enemy seeks to destroy ours. (John 10:10) Then we see a see a tactic that the enemy uses on us as he seek to prolong our pain while he destroys our live. He tries this with Jesus on the cross as he offers him a painkiller while he is being crucified(Matthew 27:34) Ultimately Christ prevails over death and rises from the grave so that we can have a chance to go to heaven. Jesus foreshadows the life decisions that all people will be faced with before they stand before God. They can choose to live in Christ or they choose to go aloe the Devil to destroy their life. Choose life today! Why seek the living among the dead.
