In this message Pastor Kevin looks at the second friend (Bildad) who offers his insight as to why Job is suffering. Bildad’s view, simply stated, is that we suffer because God is just and fair. In other words, if a person is suffering, and he has done nothing wrong, then that would mean that God is unjust and unfair. Why would God ever allow anyone to suffer if they hadn’t done something wrong, asks Bildad? Bildad obviously didn’t know that an innocent man, God’s Son, would one day suffer for something he hadn’t done wrong. In this message, we discover that, hidden in the midst of Job’s suffering, are the elements of the gospel, which are a source of comfort to the sufferer.
