In this video we look at John 6:28-29 to discuss the work of God.
Many asked Jesus during His ministry how to do the works of God.
Jesus simply replied in John 6:29, "...This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
With this statement, Jesus tells them the works of man can't equal the works of God. He is stating God's work of eternal life is not earned by man's works, but only by Him through His salvific work.
Our faith is NOT a work!
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8-9)
By grace, through faith, in Christ alone!
