Hi Friends. The Passover event of Exodus 12 is super important- It's all about God saving His people from the Judgment that was going to fall on the Egyptians-- but it's also way bigger than that since we know that a Day of Judgment is coming- the Final Judgment. The amazing thing is this- as the Israelites were passed over because of the blood of the lamb on the doorposts, we who are in Christ will also be passed over and escape the judgment to come because of the blood of Jesus- The Lamb of God. As the scriptures teach "There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." That's how incredible God's grace, love, and mercy is- forgiveness! Not because we are worthy but because of Jesus taking upon Himself the punishment we deserve for our sins. Have a great day!
