Jacob’s home life is a picture of an unhappy domestic tragedy. The entire story of Genesis 29 and 30 is full of sadness and sinfulness, but the long armed grace and mercy of the holy and merciful God is at work in spite of Jacob’s brokenness. The same God leads His children today. Thanks be to God!
