One man, Joash, was assigned an underground job that was unnoticed and without recognition. As keeper of the stores of olive oil, his job was not the best. But he was faithful in serving the king. As a parallel, we are called to certain vocations. We might think it is trivial, unnoticed (except when things go bad), and not pleasant. But we need to realize that as Christians we are serving King Jesus through our vocations and things He asks us to do. You are important to God. God loves you and cares about you!
