REVELATION CHAPTER 7 (continued): 
Verse 9… The word “Meta” – Greek…amidst or associated with.  Notice this is the FIRST MENTION OF THE CHURCH (CALLED OUT ONES) IN HEAVEN.  
Luke 12:34-36 
Verse 10… All these who stand on Heaven’s throne room floor appear to be very elated about Salvation through Jesus Christ!  
Psalms 16:11 
Verses 11-12… The activity in Heaven at this time is WORSHIP! 
Psalm 150…. 
Verses 13-14… Who are these people? The called out ones!  The Ecclesia – The Church.  (Where did they come from?) 
Revelation 7:9…from ALL nations on the Earth!  Let us look at the words “out of”, which in the Greek is a single word “EK”.  This word is defined in Strong’s Concordance as “Out Before” or “Away From” or “Preceding”.  Thus, the Scripture clearly points out that the “Called out Ones – the Church” exit just prior to the Great Wrath of God, the Great Tribulation, which is to be proven out in the following two chapters (8 and 9). 
1st Thessalonians 1:10 …. 1st Thessalonians 5:9… 2nd Corinthians 1:10 (Greek word ‘EK’ – rendered ‘away from’). 
  
Verses 15-17… We will always remain with Jesus Christ following this event!  
Matthew 28:20 …. Hebrews 13:5-6                                   
  
Summary of Revelation Chapter 7:  This chapter reveals that at the same time the “great earthquake” occurs (Revelation 6:13-17), God will begin sealing 144,000 Jewish witnesses on this earth.  Who are the witnesses?  Revelation 14:1-5 
During that same approximate time period, Christ lifts the believers off the earth and into Heaven, which the Apostle John and the angel speaking to him witness as the event happens right in front of their eyes! 1 Thessalonians 4:11-18 …. 1st Corinthians 15:51-58 
Keep in remembrance; though the earth has seen plenty of trouble, the Great Tribulation (God’s Great Wrath) has not started yet!  That occurs in Revelation Chapter 8 through Chapter 18.  PRAISE GOD FOR HIS MERCY AND MIGHTY SAVING GRACE AND DELIVERANCE! 
Although the word “Rapture is not found in Scripture”, it is a Latin word meaning “taken away or to be snatched away”.  Is this teaching found in Scripture? 1st Thessalonians 4:11-17…. Revelation 3:10…. Revelation 7:9-14…. 1st Corinthians 15:51-58…. 2nd Thessalonians 2:5-9…. Luke 21:25-36…. Daniel 12:1-3…. Zephaniah 2:1-3….. Isaiah 26:17-21…. Isaiah 57:1…. Ephesians 1:10-11…. Luke 17:30-37…. Matthew 24:36-42…. 1st Thessalonians 5:4-11

From Genesis to Revelation, God’s plan has always included every people and nation. Revelation 7:9–17 gives us a glimpse of the end of the story: a countless crowd from every tribe, tongue, and nation worshiping Jesus. 
 
This passage reminds us that Jesus’ death and resurrection secured salvation for people from every background. Because God’s eternal plans are global, our daily priorities should reflect his mission—through praying, giving, going, and sending. It’s a call to gratitude for having God’s Word in our own language, and a challenge to help bring that same gift to those who don’t have it.

Heaven will be filled with the nations. Revelation 7 shows people from every nation, tribe, people, and language, made clean by the blood of Jesus, worshiping him in victory. 
Jesus secured salvation through sacrifice. Through his sacrifice, Jesus alone conquers sin, death, and Satan. He is both the conquering Lion of Judah and the sacrificial Lamb who was slain. 
God’s eternal plans should shape our earthly plans. Since God’s goal is global redemption, our lives should reflect his mission. Every believer has a role to play—praying, giving, going, or sending.

From Genesis to Revelation, God’s plan has always included every people and nation. Revelation 7:9–17 gives us a glimpse of the end of the story: a countless crowd from every tribe, tongue, and nation worshiping Jesus.

This passage reminds us that Jesus’ death and resurrection secured salvation for people from every background. Because God’s eternal plans are global, our daily priorities should reflect his mission—through praying, giving, going, and sending. It’s a call to gratitude for having God’s Word in our own language, and a challenge to help bring that same gift to those who don’t have it.

As Christians, we can handle the ebb and flow of relationships, because the future is bright for friendship. One day, we’ll find ourselves in a great multitude that no one can number, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, our friends by our sides, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in our hands, and crying out in a loud voice, 
 
“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Rev. 7:9–10). 
 
One day, God will dwell with us, and we will be His people and He will be our God. And He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more. And Jesus will say, 
 
“Behold, I am making all things new” (Rev. 21:1–5). 
 
This world, as it is, is not our home. It is not all there is. We do not need to act like the culture, trying to soak up all the joy we can right now before it’s gone. We have the promise of a new life together with everyone who calls on the name of the Lord. The future of our friendship is secure; we can rest in that. So let’s live for something bigger than the expansion of our own social empire. 
 
 Let’s live for God and His kingdom. . . . Because, when our friendships find their purpose in something bigger than ourselves, they will shine with the rare brilliance God intended all along. 
 
When we unite together, not for the worldly purpose of satisfying our own desires for friendship but with the eternal purpose of fighting side by side to see God’s kingdom come on earth, we too will see the beauty and ultimate satisfaction of coming together as true comrades. With Christ at the center, our friendships will shine so brightly that all other versions will be but a flickering candle in the light of the sun. Let’s stop indulging in the counterfeits of the world and instead live for our King and His kingdom. Together.

2 Kings 2 1-2Just before God took Elijah to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on a walk out of Gilgal. Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here. God has sent me on an errand to Bethel.” 
Elisha said, “Not on your life! I’m not letting you out of my sight!” So they both went to Bethel. 
3The guild of prophets at Bethel met Elisha and said, “Did you know that God is going to take your master away from you today?” 
“Yes,” he said, “I know it. But keep it quiet.”

Elisha said, “Not on your life! I’m not letting you out of my sight!” So they both went to Jericho.

11-14And so it happened. They were walking along and talking. Suddenly a chariot and horses of fire came between them and Elijah went up in a whirlwind to heaven. Elisha saw it all and shouted, “My father, my father! You—the chariot and cavalry of Israel!” When he could no longer see anything, he grabbed his robe and ripped it to pieces. Then he picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him, returned to the shore of the Jordan, and stood there. He took Elijah’s cloak—all that was left of Elijah!—and hit the river with it, saying, “Now where is the God of Elijah? Where is he?” 
When he struck the water, the river divided and Elisha walked through. 
15The guild of prophets from Jericho saw the whole thing from where they were standing. They said, “The spirit of Elijah lives in Elisha!” They welcomed and honored him. 
16They then said, “We’re at your service. We have fifty reliable men here; let’s send them out to look for your master. Maybe God’s spirit has swept him off to some mountain or dropped him into a remote ravine.” 
Elisha said, “No. Don’t send them.” 
17But they pestered him until he caved in: “Go ahead then. Send them.” 
So they sent the fifty men off. For three days they looked, searching high and low. Nothing. 
18Finally, they returned to Elisha in Jericho. He told them, “So there—didn’t I tell you?” 
19One day the men of the city said to Elisha, “You can see for yourself, master, how well our city is located. But the water is polluted and nothing grows.” 
20He said, “Bring me a brand-new bowl and put some salt in it.” They brought it to him. 
21-22He then went to the spring, sprinkled the salt into it, and proclaimed, “God’s word: I’ve healed this water. It will no longer kill you or poison your land.” And sure enough, the water was healed—and remains so to this day, just as Elisha said. 
23Another time, Elisha was on his way to Bethel and some little kids came out from the town and taunted him, “What’s up, old baldhead! Out of our way, skinhead!” 
24Elisha turned, took one look at them, and cursed them in the name of God. Two bears charged out of the underbrush and knocked them about, ripping them limb from limb—forty-two children in all! 
25Elisha went on to Mount Carmel, and then returned to Samaria.
