1. Grace is God’s unmerited favor to sinners who deserve the opposite.
2. God’s grace offers salvation as a free gift to all who put their faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
3. God is able to show grace to sinners in this way because the Lord Jesus died as a Substitute for them on the cross of Calvary.
4. Grace cannot be earned, deserved, or bought in whole or in part.
5. The grace of God is limitless.

MacDonald graduated with an AB degree from Tufts College (now University) in 1938 and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School in 1940. During the 1940's he was on active duty in the US Navy for five years.
He was President of Emmaus Bible College, a teacher, preacher, and Plymouth Brethren theologian alongside his ministry as a writer. He was a close friend and worker with O.J. Gibson.
