An inheritance is a treasure left behind by the parents to be given to the children, either before or after their death. Christians also have an inheritance that has been given and reserved for them, that is everlasting life in the presence of God.

Who gave this inheritance? This inheritance came from God Himself, given to those who have believed on Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Upon receipt of salvation through faith, these individuals are adopted into God’s family, therefore making them sons and daughters.

As Christians, we should always look back at our salvation and thank God for accepting us into the beloved. We must remember that as children, we ought to give honor and obey our heavenly Father.
