<h3>Psalm 37 </h3><h3>Of David.</h3>37 <poetry>Do not fret because of those who are evil <indent>or be envious of those who do wrong; </indent> </poetry> 2 <poetry>for like the grass they will soon wither, <indent>like green plants they will soon die away. </indent></poetry> 3 <poetry>Trust in the <smallCap>Lord</smallCap> and do good; <indent>dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. </indent> </poetry> 4 <poetry>Take delight in the <smallCap>Lord</smallCap>, <indent>and he will give you the desires of your heart. </indent></poetry> 5 <poetry>Commit your way to the <smallCap>Lord</smallCap>; <indent>trust in him and he will do this:</indent> </poetry> 6 <poetry>He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, <indent>your vindication like the noonday sun.</indent></poetry> 7 <poetry>Be still before the <smallCap>Lord</smallCap> <indent>and wait patiently for him;</indent> do not fret when people succeed in their ways, <indent>when they carry out their wicked schemes. </indent></poetry> 8 <poetry>Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; <indent>do not fret —it leads only to evil.</indent> </poetry> 9 <poetry>For those who are evil will be destroyed, <indent>but those who hope in the <smallCap>Lord</smallCap> will inherit the land. </indent></poetry> 10 <poetry>A little while, and the wicked will be no more; <indent>though you look for them, they will not be found.</indent> </poetry> 11 <poetry>But the meek will inherit the land <indent>and enjoy peace and prosperity. </indent></poetry>
