Today we look at a verse that reminds us of who we are in Christ Jesus. Let's be reminded, that one of the biggest attacks the enemy launches against the Body, is to get them to focus on something other than God, and to fail to realize just who He has MADE us to be, according to His Word and not how we presently feel.

Isaiah 62:12 Holy, Redeemed, Sought Out, Not Forsaken

Ezekiel 33:30-32 "Oh he's such a good preacher!"

The Lord reminds us in His Word, just how important it is that we DO what it is He says to do, and to Speak what He says to speak, whether we think people will listen or not. If we refuse to speak when He says to speak, not only will the one who needed to hear the Word, suffer loss, but we will be held responsible! 
We are also reminded, just how important it is that we keep faithfully praying, during those times we may very well feel that God doesn't hear us. The Lord reminds us, to KEEP at it until we see the manifestation of the promises of God. God doesn't lie, so they will come! Let's be found faithful, when the promises are fulfilled.

Isaiah 62:1 Shine On

The Word of God is often likened to a seed that is planted. Just as we don't doubt whether plants will be watered and grow when it rains, we shouldn't doubt that when we plant the Word of God in our hearts, that we will see fruit produced. God promises us this wonderful promise, and we should remind ourselves as often as need be, that our God keeps His Promises!

It's quite popular in the world, to almost compete with others for who has the most problems and is having the busiest and roughest life. Living in this world we tend to get caught up and can make a bad habit of complaining about our situations or problems. Yet we're reminded in the Word that we as Christians are BEYOND blessed! We have absolutely no reason to allow the enemy to whisper poisonous words in the form of complaints, when we are far too blessed with Salvation itself, and even more blessed with the ability to BE righteous! We're too Blessed to Complain!

However, the Lord reminds us in today's verse that we will be recompensed for our trouble. DOUBLE for our shame even! As we do His Will, we sow His Word into the lives of others and God will see to it that we reap His blessings. Therefore let's never allow anything we go through to stop us from doing what God would have us to do. Praise God for His blessings as He allows us to do His Will in the first place, and enables us to do it, and blesses us even more, beyond whatever the world can give!

The Lord reminds us today that we are called out, separate from the world. Because of that, the Body of Christ needs to realize how important it is that we live lives separate from the world. The Body of Christ needs to make sure it isn't trying to act like the world. look like the world, and talk like the world in order to "save" the world, because the world cannot be saved by the world. The world must be drawn to the Light of Christ, not the darkness of the world.

We need to remind ourselves every day that we are indeed lights that will draw others to the Lord who want the Lord. Yet those who do not want the Lord will try to put us out. Let's remember also never to allow the rough situations we go through, the problem people we face, or anything happening around us in the world overwhelm us and end up putting out that light. God wants us to SHINE, so let's Shine with the light of the Glory of the Lord who is most worthy of all Praise!

When Christians consider all things that are contrary to the Lord and His Truth, we truly have a lot of enemies. Truly it's as the Word says in the Psalms: Many are the afflictions of the righteous. There are many misunderstandings concerning the Sabbath day. But one thing is needful for us to remember: The Sabbath is to be Holy unto the Lord. The Sabbath is like a Date Night for us and the Lord to get together and enjoy our relationship. It's a time for us to stop doing all these things we have to do to live in this world, and focus on God. And the Sabbath is not a single day for a Christian. We should live a life that is a Sabbath!

There are many misunderstandings concerning the Sabbath day. But one thing is needful for us to remember: The Sabbath is to be Holy unto the Lord. The Sabbath is like a Date Night for us and the Lord to get together and enjoy our relationship. It's a time for us to stop doing all these things we have to do to live in this world, and focus on God. And the Sabbath is not a single day for a Christian. We should live a life that is a Sabbath!
