Our Worship can move God and turn situations around 
 
- Consider 3 examples from the Bible. 
- First in 2 Samuel 24, the Lord was angry because of David's sin and He sent a plague on Israel. David had a choice and he chose to fall into the hands of God because he knew if he repented then God, who is merciful, gracious, slow to anger and compassionate, will forgive and restore. 
 
- It's comforting to know that there was a time designated for the end of the plague (v 15). God is in control. We have to trust God that He is Sovereign and enthroned. He has allowed it to happen for a reason. His plans are always good for us not for our destruction. We might look around and see destruction but in the end we will see it working out for good, especially for God's children who love Him and are called according to His purposes. 
 
- In verse 16, God was grieved because of the calamity and He asked the angel who was afflicting the people to withdraw, even before David could offer a sacrifice. We see God relenting and withdrawing His decision here. God is not a sadist but a good parent because He loves us. God sometimes allows things to happen so that our focus as a church would shift to God. Many times we are distracted by worldly things. Like Jonah , we run to the opposite direction from where God wants us to go, and even when things are stormy around us we are in deep sleep or indifferent many times. God allows storms to bring the church back on track like in the times of Jonah. 
 
- David humbled himself, repented and worshipped the Lord (like in 2 Chronicles 7:14) and the worship pleased the Lord and the plague stopped. David, even though was offered the land for free chose to pay a price for it because he didn't want to sacrifice offerings that cost him nothing. We likewise need to bring our focus back to God and when that happens, God will hear us. 
 
- Second example we see in 2 Chronicles 20 when Jehoshaphat worshipped the Lord by appointing and sending men ahead of the army to sing and praise the Lord, won the war without even having to fight it. 
 
- Third example we see in Acts 16 where Paul and Silas were beaten and put in prison. But instead of grumbling, complaining or even questioning God, when they chose to worship God, we see divine intervention not just in their lives but in the lives around them. 
 
- I encourage you to seek the Lord more, to worship Him, to give Him what is due even in this negative situation and when we do that I believe the Lord will turn the situation around. 
 
- As we have been praying for revival, the Lord has woken His people to humble themselves, repent, seek Him, praise Him, worship Him and give Him the glory He deserves and we will win this battle and see the impact in our nation.

# इस वैश्विक संकट और महामारी में, आप सब देख सकते हैं अराजकता, भ्रम, अधूरी जानकारी, जीवन जो भविष्य के बिना दुनिया में निराशाजनक लगता है। इस वर्ष हमने जो भी योजनाएँ बनाई हैं, वे सभी स्थगित हो गई हैं। परमेश्वर की स्तुति हों कि हमें यीशु मसीह में आशा है। हमारी सभी योजनाएँ विफल हो सकती हैं लेकिन परमेश्वर की योजनाऐं कभी विफल नहीं होती हैं। उनकी योजनाएं अजेय, अपरिवर्तनीय हैं और भविष्य और आशा के योजनाएं हैं। 
 
# यदि आप बाहर देखते हैं, तो आप भय महसूस कर सकते हैं। यदि आप अंदर देखते हैं, तो आप दुखी महसूस कर सकते हैं लेकिन यदि आप ऊपर देखते हों परमेश्वर की ओर, तो आप एक आशा और भविष्य को देखेंगे। क्योंकि हमारे परमेश्वर के पास हमारे जीवन ke लिए योजना है। यिर्मयाह 29:11 कहता है, “क्योंकि यहोवा की यह वाणी है, कि जो कल्पनाएं मैं तुम्हारे विषय करता हूँ उन्हें मैं जानता हूँ, वे हानी की नहीं, वरन कुशल ही की हैं, और अन्त में तुम्हारी आशा पूरी करूंगा”

Stand with your Pastors with Prayers and Financial Support 
 
# In these times of lockdown, while you are enjoying listening to various amazing preachers on the internet, I want you to remember your own pastors and servants of God. 
 
# 2 Samuel 23:13-17 David desired to drink water from the well at Bethlehem which was now under the enemy’s control. When his three mighty men heard this, they went to bring that water for David. They went through the camps of the enemy, got the water, and returned safely, and gave it to David. When David saw this, he didn’t drink of the water but offered it to God saying, “This is the blood of my people”. 
- Just like David had a desire to drink from the well, Jesus has the desire that no one should perish. Your Pastors have taken up the responsibility to fulfill Jesus’ desire, would you stand on their sides to support them? 
- When Moses was called out to ministry, he needed two people to hold his hands up. 
- For your Pastors who have heard the call of God and given their lives for ministry, who are these two men who watch out for him? They are your Prayers and your Financial Support. 
 
(1) Prayers 
- Even Jesus needed the prayer and support of his disciples. When Peter was in prison and the Church’s prayers rescued Peter. Your prayers can do great things in the Kingdom of God. 
- In Romans 15:30–33, Paul asks for three things in prayer. He asks prayers for his release, for acceptance of his ministry in Jerusalem, and for God’s will to be done in his life. 
- In 2 Corinthians 1:10-11, Paul first reminds the Church to first celebrate the gifts of the Pastors such as sharing the word and healing. He then reminds to pray for the protection of Pastors who go through many attacks in their life. 
- In Ephesians 6:18-20, Paul asks people of Ephesians to be alert and always pray for him that he may be given words to preach the gospel. 
- In Philippians 1:19-20, Paul asks prayer for four things; for his release, for him not to be ashamed, for courage and for Christ to be glorified in his body. 
- In Colossians 4:2-4, Paul encourages us to pray for our Pastors that God will open big doors for their ministry and magnify their ministry. When you pray, God will bring a magnifying glass on your pastor’s life because he has been given a big responsibility. 
- In 1 Thessalonians 5:25 & 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2, Paul is repeatedly asking people to pray for him and that God’s word may be spread rapidly and be honored. 
- In Philemon 1:22, Paul encourages says pray that because of your prayer I may come to you. 
 
(2) Financial Support 
- Become a partner with your Pastor for financial support. In Luke 8:1-3, we read about many people who had invested in the life of Jesus for him to take the gospel to many places. Paul also had many people who invested in the Word of God. 
- Economically, there is a recession looming ahead but I want to tell u prophetically that those who give priority to God’s work during this time would be honored by God. God gives seed to the one who wants to sows and food to the one who wants to eat. Issac sowed in times of famine and in that year God returned him a hundredfold. When we give our finances to serve God and invest to win souls and serve God, God blesses it and meets all our needs. 
- In 1 Corinthians 9:11-14, Paul reminds the church at Corinth to share your earnings with those who serve you in spiritual matters. Beloved, God has made provisions for the needs of all those who preach the Gospel to be met by the Gospel. There are many Pastors who have a small congregation and now those meetings aren’t happening and we don’t know how they are sustaining. Being the church of God, take care of your Pastor. 
- In Philippians 4:15-19, Paul expresses his appreciation to the church at Philippi for being the only source of support when he started to preach the gospel. Their financial sowing helped Paul to go to different places to set up new churches. Paul promises them that “My God shall supply all your needs” and not “Your God will supply your needs”. In other words, when the Philippian church was in a financial network with Paul, he was able to release his faith that would meet the needs of the church. God will release the faith of your Pastor into your life when you remain financially connected with him. God will release words of blessing through your Pastor into your life. 
 
# If you are someone who looks for shortcomings in your Pastor and compare him with others, change yourself. Pray for them and release a blessing in their life and you will see great rewards in your life.

SERMON SUMMARY 
God’s plans for you are to prosper and not to harm you 
# Acts 2:23 
- As Peter describes the events from the last days of Jesus, he establishes that everything that happened in Jerusalem regarding the suffering and death of Jesus was by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge. It was not the Jews, Romans or the conspirators who succeeded but it was all God’s plan and His foreknowledge. 
 
# Acts 4:28 
- In their prayer to God, the First Apostles declare that everything that the conspirators did to Jesus was by God’s power and will. It means they realized that God was in control even in those adverse situations and they happened by His consent and will. 
This realization made them understand every persecution that they were now going through. 
 
# Today, we are facing adverse situations all around; uncertain future related to jobs, income, businesses. Amidst all these confusions, God is with you and He wants you to know that all of these are by His plan, will and foreknowledge. We may question God; about why Jesus had to suffer so much or why we have to suffer so much today? We may even think “God, things should be easy for you.” We may question His plans and purposes but the Bible reminds us that His plans for us are to prosper, to give hope and a future and not to harm us. 
 
# Psalms 23:4 says “walk through the darkest valley” and not “walk avoiding the darkest valley”. 
- Isaiah 43:2 says through the waters, rivers and fire, God is with us. We need to know that if God protects us from adverse situations sometimes, then there are also times when God protects us in adverse situations. 
 
# Imagine how much better everything would have been if this coronavirus would not have ever come! If God allowed this, it means He has already cared for us beforehand. 
- In 1 Kings 17, God asks Elijah to give the King a message. After he does this, Elijah runs off and hides in the Kerith Ravine. Twice, in 1 Kings 17, God says He has directed. First, He has directed the ravens to bring food for Elijah. Later, God says He has directed a widow (not a rich person) at Zarephath (a hostile territory) to supply him with food. 
- God does not work as per our situations, rather our situations are under the authority of our God. We need to believe this. 
 
# Our response: We need to thank God and keep praying; asking God what do you want to tell me now? 
- Ephesians 5:16-17 says “making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” Make most of the opportunity you have, during these hard times, to know what Lord’s will is. We can know His will for us and can fulfill His will. And we need to believe that His will for us is for our good. 
- Rejoice because everything that happened with Jesus and all that is happening with us today is by God’s plan, will and foreknowledge. Does it mean we stay idle looking at all of this? No! Jesus asked the first-century believers “to wait”. This “waiting” consisted of being in prayer, in solitude, in worship adoring God. 
 
- How are you spending your time these days? Are you spending most of your time on social media and only any spare time to pray? I pray that during these situations you grow more in the knowledge of Word of God, that you experience Jesus, that angels visit you, that your prayers are full of faith, that your touch has God’s anointing, that you have tears in your eyes, that you pray continually not for yourselves but the needs of others. 
 
- This lockdown is not for your harm but let it rather be the cause of your spiritual, physical, domestic and social prosperity. Remember, God knows everything that is happening with us today and He has already prepared a way for this.

येशु के साथ तूफान के बीच में 
# मरकुस 6: 41-51 में 5000 लोगों को 5 रोटी और 2 मछली खिलाने के बाद, येशु ने अपने शिष्यों से नाव से झील के दूसरे किनारे जाने को कहा और खुद पहाड़ पर प्रार्थना करने के लिए चढ़ा। अचानक, तूफान के बीच में शिष्य खुद को पाते हैं। अप्रैल 2020 में, हम भी अचानक एक अनिश्चित स्थिति में हैं, जहां व्यवसाय ध्वस्त हो गए हैं, नौकरियां खो गई हैं और हमें भविष्य के बारे में पता नहीं है। 
 
# शत्रु आपके कानों में फुसफुसा रहा होगा कि यह स्थिति हमारे ऊपर परमेश्वर का निर्णय या दन्ड है। लेकिन शिष्य अपने पाप या चुनाव के कारण तूफान में नहीं थे, बल्कि हमारे प्रभु येशु के दिए गए एक दिव्य निर्देश के कारण जिन्होंने उन्हें दूसरी तरफ जाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। आप अपनी गलतियों के कारण इस स्थिति में नहीं हैं, लेकिन क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने आपको एक उद्देश्य के लिए रखा है। वह करना जारी रखें जो उसने आपको करने के लिए कहा है। 
 
# मत्ती 14:33 में, वही कहानी दर्ज की गई है जहाँ पतरस येशु को तूफान को शांत करते हुए देखता है और कहता है कि "आप जीवित परमेश्वर के पुत्र हैं।" यह प्रकटीकरण पतरस को मृतकों को जिलाने से या बीमारों को चंगा करने से नहीं हुआ बल्कि तूफान के वजह से हुआ जिसे येशु ने शान्त किया। उसी तरह, आपकी वर्तमान स्थिति हमारे प्रभु येशु के लिए एक बड़ा प्रकटीकरण और एक बड़ी महिमा लाएगी। 
 
# जब शिष्य तूफान में फंस गए, तो येशु ने उन्हें पहाड़ से संघर्ष करते हुए देखा। कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आपके चारों ओर अंधेरे, उदास और नीरस चीजें हैं, येशु की नजर आप पर है। आप उसे देख या समझ नहीं पा रहे होंगे, लेकिन येशु आपको और आपके संघर्षों को देखता है। वह आपके दर्द, पीड़ा, वित्तीय संकट और आपके अनुत्तरित प्रश्नों को जानता है। 
 
# मत्ती 14 में, हम देखते हैं कि पतरस ने येशु से पानी पर चलने के लिए अनुमति मांगी। यीशु ने उसे आने के लिए कहा और पतरस पानी पर चलता है। कई बार लोग इस बारे में बात करते हैं कि कैसे तूफान को देखकर पतरस विचलित हो गया और डूबने लगा। लेकिन हम यह भूल जाते हैं कि पतरस दूसरी बार येशु के साथ नाव की ओर हाथ पकड़ कर पानी पर चला था। आप कर्ज, दर्द, दुःख और पीड़ा में डूब रहे हो सकते हैं लेकिन पतरस के समान येशु यहाँ आपको भी एक दूसरा मौका देने और तूफान के बीच में आपके साथ चलने के लिए है। 
 
# यदि आप तूफान के बीच में हैं, तो हार न मानें लेकिन डटे रहिए। येशु आपकी स्थिति और आपके द्वारा शुरू किए गए अच्छे काम को पूरा करेगा।
