Gen. 3:20 NIV - 20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. 
 
Genesis 3:15 NIV – (God speaking to the serpent or satan.) And I will put enmity (hostility, opposition, rivalry, conflict) between you and the woman, and between your offspring (seed or descendants) and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” 
 
Hebrews 11:1-3 NLT - Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. 2 Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. 3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. Vs. 6 – 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. 
Romans 5:1 NLT -  Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 
 
 
Genesis 3:21 NIV - 21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.  
 
 
 
John 3:16-17 NLT - For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes (Puts their Faith and Trust) in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. 
1 John 2:2 NLT - 2 He himself (Jesus) is the sacrifice that atones (pays for, redeems) for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world. 
Hebrews 9:12-14 NCV - 12 Christ entered the Most Holy Place only once—and for all time. He did not take with him the blood of goats and calves. His sacrifice was his own blood, and by it he set us free from sin forever. 13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a cow are sprinkled on the people who are unclean, and this makes their bodies clean again. 14 How much more is done by the blood of Christ. He offered himself through the eternal Spirit (Holy Spirit) as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will make our consciences pure from useless acts so we may serve the living God. 
 
Gen. 3:22-24 NIV – 22 And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” 23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. 
 
Ephesians 2:8-9 CSB - 8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— 9 not from works, so that no one can boast. 
Hebrews 11:13-16 - 13 All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. 14 Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. 15 If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. 16 But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. 
 
Psalm 138:7 ESV - Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. 
Psalm 23:4 NASB - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, (harm) for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 
Romans 8:28-29 NIV- 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  
 
 
 
Romans 5:3-5 NLT – 3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. Brief Bible commentary on Genesis 3:8-24 
 
 They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, ‘Where are you?’ He said, ‘I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.’ He said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?’ The man said, ‘The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.’ Then the Lord God said to the woman, ‘What is this that you have done?’ The woman said, ‘The serpent tricked me, and I ate.’ The Lord God said to the serpent, 
‘Because you have done this, 
 cursed are you among all animals 
 and among all wild creatures; 
upon your belly you shall go, 
 and dust you shall eat 
 all the days of your life. 
I will put enmity between you and the woman, 
 and between your offspring and hers; 
he will strike your head, 
 and you will strike his heel.’ 
To the woman he said, 
‘I will greatly increase your pangs in childbearing; 
 in pain you shall bring forth children, 
yet your desire shall be for your husband, 
 and he shall rule over you.’ 
And to the man he said, 
‘Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, 
 and have eaten of the tree 
about which I commanded you, 
 “You shall not eat of it”, 
cursed is the ground because of you; 
 in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life; 
thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; 
 and you shall eat the plants of the field. 
By the sweat of your face 
 you shall eat bread 
until you return to the ground, 
 for out of it you were taken; 
you are dust, 
 and to dust you shall return.’ 
 
 The man named his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all who live. And the Lord God made garments of skins for the man and for his wife, and clothed them. 
 
 Then the Lord God said, ‘See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever’— therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man; and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim, and a sword flaming and turning to guard the way to the tree of life.
